Living in a typical Italian town
Accommodation is included in the Study-Holiday Pack. Enjoy this incredible convenience that saves you a lot of time and money!
All facilities are at a very short distance, including the bus station with transports to all the main cities of the Marche region, train station, airports and the nearby beach of Porto Recanati.
Most of the apartments are located in the evocative setting of the 14th Century cloister of Saint Augustine monastery, just beneath the celebrated bell-tower that inspired Recanati-born poet Giacomo Leopardi in the poem “Il passero solitario”.
All our apartments are close to the school (max 15 mins’ walk) so there is no need to use private or public transportation.
Flats are available with 2-3 shared bedrooms (for 5-6 people), they all have an independent entrance, kitchen, TV, bathroom; they are equipped with a washing machine (in the housing unit or in the apartment building). With an additional fee, you can stay in a single room (in a flat with other students) or choose a studio flat for 2 or 3 people or, alternatively, an independent studio flat. While staying in Recanati, which is a peaceful historical town, you won’t have to worry about going out alone at night. It is always possible to hang out without problems at any time of the day or to go for walks, visit unique bars and authentic pubs, theatre or cinema with your new friends. Recanati also provides excellent sports facilities, including tennis, bowling, basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming pool and gym.
Students can cook their meals in their apartments or enjoy the Italian local cuisine when eating out in town.
The School has a special agreement with pubs, pizzerias, restaurants and bars for inexpensive meals and typical Italian appetizers.
In and around the historic centre, there are supermarkets and grocery stores with local specialties.
Furthermore, there is a low-cost supermarket not too far from the city centre.
Other types of accommodation
You can find different solutions for your staying and lodging: hotels (accommodation only or half/full board), farms, country houses and bed & breakfast. For more information please contact the school office.
